Lee leads Lee at the Kia Classic

South Korean Mirim Lee shot a -6 66 to reach -16, 200 total at Aviara, leaving her a stroke ahead of American, Alison Lee who also shot 66 -15 total, in the final event before the first major of the season next week.


Lydia Ko shot a -5 67 to move within two rounds of matching Annika Sorenstam's LPGA Tour record for consecutive rounds under par of 29, but she dropped 2 strokes late in her round to go into today's play 4 shots off the lead.


Cristie Kerr,68 and Japan's Sakura Yokomine 67, are at -13 under. Se Ri Pak matched the course record with a 64 to join Ko, Paula Creamer 66 and Jennifer Song 66, at -12 Creamer closed eagle-birdie-birdie.


Lexi Thompson is at -11 after a 65. while Morgan Pressel, tied for the second-round lead with Mirim Lee, slipped down the field with a 72.
