Kevin Sutherland birdied three of the final seven holes Saturday for a -5 67 -9 total and a two shot lead at the Champions Tour's Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic.
Sutherland, the one-time PGA Tour winner who shot the first 59 in Champions Tour history, has a two-stroke lead over Tom Lehman (66).
Tom Pernice Jr.(69) and David Frost (70) are at -6. Scott Dunlap had a 65, the best round of the week, to join Colin Montgomerie (72), Joe Durant (72), Olin Browne (68) and Woody Austin (71) are at -5.
