While round one of the event everyone calls the Disney, perhaps because the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Classic is too damn long to repeat over and over, especially in this age of tweets and texts, is still in progress, the main story is complete.
Luke Donald, playing beautifully is currently in a 7 way tie for the lead at -6 66 while Webb Simpson, his playing partner is T10 at -4 68. I have done all the math in earlier posts if you need exact details, suffice to say Luke has edged ahead in their race if only slightly, and as you know even if he wins, he needs Webb to slip much further back than 2 shots.Between them they fired 10 birdies, no bogey's all the rest pars...
With storylines everywhere, James Driscoll also T1 -6 66 is 125th on the money list, and all our Canucks are still on course(s).

European Tour
europeantour.com England's Ross McGowan, fighting for his European Tour future, began the Castelló Masters with a seven under par 64 in Spain.
A year after his bid for a Ryder Cup debut was scuppered by a wrist injury, the 29 year old is only 163rd on The Race to Dubai and has dropped from 63rd in the Official World Golf Ranking to 543rd, but, needing things to go his way, he sank his four iron approach to the 503 yard 17th for an eagle two and also had five birdies in a flawless display.
McGowan is two in front of compatriot Richard McEvoy and Paraguay's Fabrizio Zanotti, and three clear of a group which includes Sergio Garcia on his home course and Northern Irishman Michael Hoey on his first appearance since winning the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship title.
