Ken Duke has just won the Nationwide Tour Championship. He started as a pro 18 years ago under Bob Toski, yes Bob Toski who used to coach Jack Nicklaus, and has been this route several times before.
I am looking at the top 25 finishers all gathered around on the 18th green, some veterans like Duke and some rookies like Jason Kokrak. In his lone start on the PGA TOUR in 2011, he missed the cut at the Transitions Championship after Monday Qualifying.
Think of Aussie James Nitties who was in the final pairing at the Open Championship at Turnberry with Tom Watson in 2009...he finished 26th, beard and all...
There are no Canucks in this story, Q school is their route, and each player in this top 25 has their own story, but for sure the lucky, talented top 25 have millions on their mind..
