PGA Tour : RSM Classic
Mother nature is pouring rain up and down the eastern coastline from Florida up to our Atlantic provinces where up to 100ml are expected on Saturday.
The Sea Island GC was no different with only 65 of 156 players finishing their round after a 90 minute delay in the morning and another 2.5 hours in the afternoon means play will resume at sun up on Friday with most of the field in play at this RSM Classic.
The low pressure system has moved out up the coast leaving sunny weather in store for Friday and those who make the cut on the weekend.
Cam Young and leading Rookie of the Year candidate Eric Cole along with Davis Thompson all got their play done with -6 66 for a share of the clubhouse lead playing the Plantation course.
Matt Kuchar who has a home in the area played the more exposed Seaside course in -5 65. He has qualified for play in all the $20m signature events in 2024 along with Cole and Young.
Many others in this field still have issues to resolve with the top 125 spots to be finalized before the holidays begin as of Sunday night.
