PGA Tour : Pebble Beach Pro Am
It's time for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am, yes Bill Murray will be playing, and Jim Nantz will be gushing over the cute sea otters in the Pacific Ocean along one of America's most expensive coastlines, the Monterey Peninsula.
Remember the pros and their am play 3 courses PB (Pebble Beach) SH (Spyglass Hill) and MP (Monterey Peninsula), before the final cuts finish on PB on Sunday. The rounds take forever with all the traffic, pros partners are more high end executives paying $5000 towards charity, or family than celebrities and to be frank the Bill Murray deal got tired years ago.
The weather as it often is at this time of year will be chilly by Californian standards mid 50'sF (13*c), but no rain and very little wind in the 4 day forecast.
Of the 7 Canadians, Nick Taylor who went wire to wire to win his 2nd PGA title in 2020 has his 2 year exemption expire when the event is over. He's ranked 232 in the world and currently 125 on the Fed Ex Cup rankings.
David Hearn lost his PGA Tour card and is playing mostly on the Korn Ferry, this week has an invitation.
