PGA Tour Champions: Cologuard Classic Saturday leaderboard
Mike Weir finished 2nd here last year, but has opened his account with at +2 74 T59, so lot's to do on "moving day" Saturday in Tuscon at this Cologuard Classic, where the lead is -6.
However his colleague Stephen Ames had lots of circles and squares on his card. Consider 2 bogey's and a double countered by 3 birdies for +1 going out, but then a red hot 6 birdies and just one bogey coming in, add them all up for T6, -4 68, with only 5 pars all day !!
The leaders at -6 are little Jeff Sluman who has been more involved in golf course design, making a rare start, and globe trotter, the most interesting man in golf, Miguel Jimenez.
Three others including Tom Lehman are at -5, then Ames is in a pack of six including Jerry Kelly.
