I haven't mentioned Ben Silverman much here for a couple of years. The Canadian pro from Thornhill now 34 and living in West Palm Beach, Florida with his wife Morgan and one son lost his playing privilege's on both the PGA and Korn Ferry Tours for 2022.
The Florida based Minor League Golf Tour costs a pro $205 USD to enter, has a 50 man field over 1 round for a purse of $6654.
Ben shot a -7 64 to win $1286 for his 39th win on this tour and a career total of $143, 081.
Next on this tour is the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifier tune up on the Tour course at Weston Hills on Monday January 17, 2022.
History : After turning pro in 2010, he joined the PGA Tour Canada in 2014, qualified for the Web.com Tour in 2015 and got his first and only win at the Price Cutter Charity Championship in 2017 to graduate to the PGA Tour in 2018 where he finished 136th, but immediately qualified again through the Korn Ferry playoffs for the 2019 season where he finished 181st, and ended up on the Korn Ferry again for 2020.
