However some big names are hard on his heels including Ian Poulter 68, Paul Casey 68 Patrick Reed 64 and Henrik Stenson 65 all at -12. Sergio Garcia 67 is at -14 along with Lucas Bjerregaard 70 and Byeong Hun An 66. The low score of the day went to Thomas Pieters who went out in 31 ending up with a sparkling 63 -11. In form Ross Fisher aided by a holed chip on the 17th for a 67 is at -12
As for the reason they are all here, the Race to Dubai, remember Rory is off this week and the guy who's been chasing him all year Danny Willett(70) is at -5 and Justin Rose is at -10
If Jaidee can win a second European Tour win of the season he could move up to 3rd in the race.
