When round 3 began this morning, Charl Schwartzel had followed up his opening 66 with a 67 to get to -11 to lead Benjamin Hebert, Joost Luiten, Pablo Martin and Richard Sterne by a commanding five shots.
However that has all changed after European Tour rookie Frenchman Sebastien Gros, who is playing just his second European Tour event after finishing second on The Challenge Tour last season, made nine birdies in his first 16 holes for the week's best -9 63 to move to -10 for the clubhouse lead, currently just one shot behind Schwartzel, the 3 time winner at spectacular Leopard Creek.
Meanwhile defending champion Branden Grace who barely made the cut, moved well up the leaderboard by firing a 66 to get to -6 currently T7.
Schwartzel is on course right now in the 3rd round late wave..
