PGA Tour Phoenix Open live scoring http://espn.go.com/golf/leaderboard?tour=pga
It's not unusual to me that a Scot from Glasgow is leading this Waste Management Phoenix Open, considering all we Scots are forced to endure a life riddled with rain. After the soaking, windswept rain Martin Laird has endured on courses like Western Gailes, yesterday's steady drizzle was no problem as he shot a second -5 66, -10 to lead by 2 over rookie Daniel Berger (69), then Justin Thomas (68) another shot behind. Bubba Watson (71), Zach Johnson (70) and Angel Cabrera (69) were in the group at -6.
Of course all the talk is that the event goes into the weekend without Tiger Woods, who had the worst score (82) of his career and missed the cut by 12 shots and Phil Mickelson (76), who had his worst round on the TPC Scottsdale. Both have shot off home to their mansions in Florida and San Diego respectively, to prepare for Torrey Pines next week. 15 players failed to finish due to darkness
Canadians : Graham Delaet is T10 67 70 -5, Nick Taylor T55 71 71 E, Corey Renfrew T68 70 73 +1. Unfortunately Mike Weir, Adam Hadwin and David Hearn all MC.
Bryan
