Steady Saturday keeps Conners in contention...54 hole scoreboard..Sunday tees..

PGA Championship Leaderboard

PGA Championship Tee Times

While we were rained out until 1pm on this Saturday May 24 long weekend here in Toronto, just miles to our south in Rochester, the pros at this PGA Championship were out in the same system and their scores on this tough Oak Hill GC reflected it. Only 6 of the top 20 broke par and +3 73 has been the avaerage score.

Brooks Koepka was the best of the bunch, his -4 66 has him in the lead by a shot at -6.

Victor Hovland and Corey Conners managed the conditions well with E 70's -5 total and only a diabloical lie in the fairway bunker at the par4 16th leading to a double bogey 6 kept the brilliant Canadian from joining the LIV renegade atop the board.

Out in a 1 birdie, all par 34, back in all pars, 1 birdie at 15 and the double at the 16th, 36, Corey will be in the penultimate pairing with DeChambeau at 2.20 on Sunday with a glittering chance to join fellow Canadians, Mike Weir, Brooke Henderson as a major winner.

He's in tough company.. Here are the final 4 pairings..

2.00 Rory McIlroy 71 69 69 -1, Michael Block 70 70 70 E
