PGA Tour ; Wells Fargo Championship Leaderboard
Day 1 on the venerable Quail Hollow course in Charlotte NC, the designated $20m Wells Fargo has Tommy Fleetwood from England and a member of the European Ryder Cup team in the lead -6 65.
Normally Tommy would be in Italy on the DP World Tour at the Ryder Cup Marco Simone GC but with owgr #25 he is qualified for all the WGC, and designated, and majors on the PGA Tour, so has been away from family on this side of the Atlantic for weeks.
He last played DP World Tour in January at DP World Championship T5..
He flew to America for the Waste Management Phoenix Open and MC..Riviera T20, Arnie Palmer T61, Players T27, Valspar T3, Dell Match Play T52, Masters T33, RBC Heritage T15 so a long time away from home.
