Scores soar in the wind at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Las Vegas

The wind has been freshening this week in Las Vegas and it played a huge role on moving day at this year's Shriners Hospitals for Children as scoring soared with the breeze.

The Canadians were a perfect example. Nick Taylor has gone 69,71 then +3 74 and is T48 +1, Corey Connors 70 71 74 +2 T55 and Ben Silverman a similar story, 69 73 76 +5 T75th. David Hearn missed the cut by a shot.

You'll be forgiven if you don't know who the leaders are, but this is after all the end of the calendar year for all of the big guns who are not competing in the Race To Dubai on the European Tour.

Americans Beau Hossler 69 69 66 -9 and JJ Spaun 66 65 73 -9 have managed the conditions better than the rest so far and they are 3 shots clear of big hitting Tony Finau 69 69 69 -6.
