Brooke Henderson chases CME Globe title

LPGA Tour CME Group Tour Championship leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/cme-group-tour-championship/leaderboard

Play is just underway at the finale of the Race to CME Globe with breezy conditions in Naples Florida.

It is the CME Group Tour Championship and Brooke Henderson begins play in 5th spot, one of the top 5 who will win the title if they win this week.

Currently ranked 13th in the world, she has been the iron lady of the LPGA tour, this will be her 30th event as she and her sister Britanny return from 4 weeks in Asia. Her season includes 8 top 10's and wins in New Zealand and at the Meijer LPGA Classic.

The prize money this week in $2.5m and the winner of the CME Globe gets an additional $1m.

Brooke is only 20 years young and after a sensational 2016, and another solid year in 2017 she had this to say. " Mentally I think I'm a lot stronger than I was last year which is a big improvement. It's a life long process and I feel like saw a big improvement this year. I'm better at shifting my focuses to what is important and throwing away the things that really don't matter that much"

In other words she is growing up and maturing as we watch her over the next four days, and whether she wins it all or not this season, she will continue her growth which we all believe will eventually lead her to become the first Canadian to be the world's #1.
