Japanese star Namura leads on Sunday at Texas Shootout

Playing in tough windy conditions in Irving Texas, Japanese star Haro Namura, 68 65 72 -8 205 leads by two over 17-year-old South Korean amateur Eun Jeong Seong (69), Cristie Kerr (70) and Inbee Park (71) who has already won this event twice.

Alena Sharp 70 74 70 +1 is T23 while Brooke Henderson 74 71 71 +3 is T39 at the start of play today. Jennifer Ha and Maude Aimee LeBlanc both MC.

The wind was blowing over 20 mph with storm clouds gathering, only three players broke 70 in round 3, and more of the same is expected today. Yesterday the field teed off nearly 3 1/2 hours earlier than scheduled in threesomes instead of twosomes to get play in.
