With rounds of 67 68 and a -9 total, Stephen Ames is in a good spot to win his first Champions Tour event in his 49th appearance... however it is isn't going to be easy.!!
There are 5 players grouped at -8, including Kenny Perry, and 2 more at -7 including Miguel Jimenez, and 6 more including the likes of John Daly, Paul Broadhurst and David Frost all at -6.
You know at least one of them will make a charge, so Stephen will have to be at his best.
