Rutledge joins Spittle "officially" on Champions Tour, 9 Canucks head for final stage

Jeff Freeman was one of five players at the  Champions Tour Q school to earn exempt status for 2012 at -20. Joining him were runners-up, 4 shots back at -16, Gary Hallberg and Jim Rutledge as well as Jeff Hart (Solana Beach, CA) and P.H. Horgan (West Palm Beach, FL). Those five players will be exempt until the reorder takes place later in the 2012 season.

Seven other players earned conditionally-exempt status for 2012. Leading the pack is Jim Carter (Scottsdale, AZ), who will earn a spot as one of the five exempt players until Freeman turns 50 in April, followed by (in order of finish) Sonny Skinner (Slyvester, GA), Bobby Clampett (Carmel, CA), Mark Mouland (Kenilworth, England), Jeff’s older brother Robin Freeman (LaQuinta, CA), James Mason (Dillard, GA) and Dick Mast (Forest, VA).

Meanwhile at PGA Tour Q school we have 9 Canucks who will go to the final stage which starts Nov 30 at Pga West in Florida.

Matt McQuillan who finished just outside the top 125 on tour, and Adam Hadwin who won over $400,000 in just 5 events will go straight to the final stage, and they will be joined by...

Richard Scott ended up T4 at Redstone GC in Humble Texas

Stuart Anderson Fort McMurray, Alberta, T2 at Bear Creek in California
Richard T Lee of Vancouver, T7 Bear Creek
Ryan Yip, Calgary..T12 Bear Creek
Mitch Gillis of Williams Lake, B.C T2 at Plantation Florida

Sadly Chris Baryla, Jon Mills, David Morland, Bryan DeCorso, Derek Gillespie amongst other Canadian stalwarts did not qualify, so will try to get their cards via the Nationwide Tour next year.
