Pádraig Harrington will get the defence of his ISPS HANDA Senior Open title under way alongside fellow reigning Senior Major champion Stewart Cink at The Gleneagles Hotel on Thursday.
Cink lifted the trophy at the US Senior PGA Championship in April before finishing second at the U.S. Senior Open as Harrington won that title for a third time earlier this month.
Now the duo will be joined by 2023 Senior Open champion Alex Cejka as they go head to head once again, starting at 09.19 on Thursday, when all groups will tee off the first on the King's Course.
Darren Clarke was the winner the last time this event was held here in 2022 and he plays alongside another man with fond memories of Gleneagles in Jamie Donaldson.
The Welshman hit the winning shot for Europe at the 2014 Ryder Cup over on the PGA Centenary Course, and he and Clarke will play with two-time U.S. Open winner Retief Goosen at 09.08.
Another South African great in Ernie Els tees off at 09.30 in the company of two Major-winning debutants, with Henrik Stenson and Zach Johnson making their first appearances in this event since turning 50 earlier this year.
There will be plenty for the local fans to cheer in the afternoon with a trio of Scots getting their rounds started.
At 13.36 Colin Montgomerie tees off in the company of Dane Søren Kjeldsen and American Jerry Kelly, 11 minutes before 2014 Ryder Cupper Stephen Gallacher gets started with Australia's Scott Hend and Kiwi Steven Alker.
Two former Senior Open champions in KJ Choi and Miguel Ángel Jiménez then play alongside last year's runner-up Justin Leonard at 13.58, with fellow Open champions Paul Lawrie and David Duval teeing up alongside Swede Robert Karlsson at 14.09.
Canadians: Stephen Ames tees off at 8.46 with David Howell and Thongchai Jaidee. Gordon Burns then plays with American Todd Sapere and Dane Knud Storgaard.
