DP World Tour : Genesis Championship Course Tee Times Weather
With rounds of 69 72 72 72 +1 T54, Aaron Cockerill will finish his 2025 DP World Tour season #120, missing out on the top 115, and as such for the first time in 4 years the 33 year old veteran has lost his playing privileges' on the DP World Tour for 2026, for the time being...

For those who follow me here, you'll know I have covered Aaron since he began the season in South Africa at the Nedbank Challenge in December where he T52 he finished 2024 in 49th place, but that slowly slipped away.
He MC before Christmas at the Alfred Dunhill, then came back and MC in 2 of the 4 Desert swing events, then MC at Kenya Open as well as 4 of his next 7 including the US Open qualifying.
He had his best spell early in June with T13 in Austria and his only T10 in Italy with 8 rounds in the 60's, then a T38 at the BMW in Germany. A T29 in Denmark, and T30 in Spain early in October was enough to get him to #117 coming to this week.
" I played pretty good, better than my 72 score, had a lot of 25 footers, didn't get much out of that. However I played better today (Saturday), we're heading in the right direction. At #116 it's right there for me to grasp, it will be lovely to keep my card, I'm just trying to compete the scores are so bunched.
I'm going to try and go out and have some fun tomorrow"
He went out on Sunday in 35 with 2 birdies and a bogey, however he couldn't make any headway coming in, with the rain falling, a 2 bogey 37 for the 72 +1 total, wasn't enough....
When we count them all up, 12 MC in 30 events, T10 his best result of the year, 120th Race to Dubai, #403 in the world, obviously a down year for Aaron.
What next ? He is exempt to Final Stage Q School, November 7-12 in Spain at Infinitum GC, Tarragona.
The top 20 and ties will win their 2026 cards.
Genesis Championship winner was Korean Junghwan Lee 71 65 73 64 -11 by 3 shots, who moves up an incredible 244 places in the Race To Dubai to #63 to qualify for the top 70 in next week's playoff in Abu Dhabi.
