Thursday: BMW PGA Championship.. Cockerill T7, Live scoreboard. weather forecast

DP World Tour : BMW PGA Championship.Weather Leaderboard

Edit>>> Play suspended 13.34 local due to thunder and lightning. Play to resume at 1500hrs.

Weather : Mostly cloudy. very windy with scattered showers 40%, slight chance of a thunderstorm, wind gusts to 25mph, SW

The best of the early wave, out before the worst of the wind, was Frenchman Tom Vaillant ranked #372 owgr with -8 64, he birdied 6 of his last 7 holes, 10 all together in one of his best Tour rounds.

Aaron Cockerill

Canada's Aaron Cockerill, owgr 361 also had a great morning on this venerable Wentworth (west)) GC with the family in attendance cheering him on, all pars and 4 birdies -4 68 T7. I do not remember AC playing this event before.

As you can see from the weather forecast, the wind is picking up this afternoon as is the chance of rain, perhaps a thunderstorm, as I mentioned yesterday there is a lot of wind and showers in the weekly forecast, Sunday being the best weather day.

Most of the big boys including Corey Conners, are in the late wave, yet to tee off at 645et, 1145am local)  as I post this at 630am et, 1130am GMT+1 local.

More to follow....
