TEE TIMES/ Wet weather forecast for Amgen Irish Open

The tee times have just been announced so here they are for you, and I have included a link for the weather so you can see what is in store this week at the K Club in Straffan which is in County Kildare just west of Dublin, right in horse breeding countryside, and the Curragh racetrack.

You can see they have sent the Irish lads (Rory, Shane, Paddy) out early off the10th tee one after another. There are 52 groups of 3 or 156 entries, Sergio Garcia WD.

Aaron Cockerill who missed the cut with his mother in attendance in Switzerland is in the field and has had a T10 at this event.

Group 8 8.40am 1st  Aaron Cockerill, Oliver Lindell (Fin), Maximilien Keiffer (Ger.)

Aaron has slipped to #112 Race to Dubai, owgr 364. 

In general, there is a lot of wind and rain in the forecast, almost 100% on Wednesday so the K Club is going to be soft and the rough heavy.

The K Club is best remembered for the European Ryder Cup team thrashing of Tiger Woods and the USA squad in 2006 18.5 - 9.5, their 3rd consecutive win. The team wore pink suits in honour of Darren Clarke's wife Heather who died of breast cancer in August of that year.
