Nick Taylor leads the Canadian contingent at the St Jude Championship with an opening -3 67 on TPC Southwind, in Memphis.
The leader at -8 is lefty Akshay Bhatia -8 62.

Hughes is at #59 in the FedEx Cup standings needing to make the top 50 to get into the BMW next week as are many in the 70 man field.
