PGA Tour : WM Phoenix Open Tee Times
Scottie Scheffler, Wyndham Clark, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Cam Young are the headliners from the American point of view and I count 34 DP World and other International players in the field for this Super Bowl weekend at the WM Phoenix Open.
Of note there are 4 Canadians and Matthieu Pavon has taken the week off after his sensational start to his PGA Tour including his win at Torrey Pines and T3 at 54 hole Pebble Beach last week.
This year WM is not a signature event, with a purse of $8.8m, while next week's Genesis Open at Riviera has the signature event status for $20m.
Remember this TPC Scottsdale (Stadium Course) has the famous or infamous 16th hole par 3, packed with 17,000 beer soaked fans (college students) in stands that surround the entire hole.
