Heavy rain all day on Friday in south Florida has cancelled round 1 at the Timber Technology Championship in Boca Raton.
Play will begin with 47 players in the field at 7.45am this morning and I can tell you the rain has moved out of the area for this weekend.
The officials plan to get 36 holes in by sunset.

The leader Matthew Wolfe 61, 68 is at -13. Nick Taylor leads the Canadians T28 67 69 -6, Adam Hadwin T41,69 68 -5, Adam Svensson T41 72 65 -5.
With the cut falling at -4, Taylor Pendrith will have the weekend off 76 68 +2, as will Roger Sloan 69 70 -3

In the Race to Dubai which wraps up the week of Nov.18th in Dubai, Colin Morikawa leads wirh 3856.4 points, Billy Horschel is 2nd with 3620.2 and Jon Rahm 3rd with 3425.2 points.
