Just what he needed, a 7 birdie, 2 bogey -5 67 saw Aaron Cockerill off to his best start of this season T4 after the opening round of this Dutch Open. With round 2 underway (in Canada on the Golf Channel with Tony Johnstone and the European crew calling the action) Cockerill has started off the 10th tee with 2 pars and a bogey.
The clubhouse leader 68 64 -12 Kristoffer Broberg from Sweden, so Aaron needs to keep pace with lots of birdies today.

Two time winner of this Cambia Portland Classic, Brooke Henderson has been off for a month, and she flew home to see her coach /father to get some practice done in Smith's Falls. She has opened with -2 70 T10.
"I haven't seen him in so long, we went over my game, and he gave me a few pointers to help get my confidence back up, it was a key time for me to go home." She is now playing 4 weeks in a row.
Alena Sharp didn't touch a club for 3 weeks, and after a refreshing 5 week break she got off to a shakey start but settled down on the back nine -1 71 T15.
Three players including Gemma Dryburgh from Scotland share the lead -4 68.
