European Ryder Cup team http://www.rydercup.com/news-media/europe/nine-qualifiers-set-hazeltine
Europe will seek a record fourth successive Ryder Cup victory with at least five rookies on the team when they take on the United States from September 30 - October 2. Rafa Cabrera Bello, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Andy Sullivan, Danny Willett and Chris Wood will all be making their debuts.
Rory McIlroy, Open champion, Henrik Stenson, Sergio Garcia, Olympic gold medal winner,Justin Rose are the 4 veteran members who have also qualified.
European Captain Clarke will name his three wild cards to complete the 12-man team on Tuesday 30 August.
I believe they will be Lee Westwood who has played in every Ryder Cup since 1997, Marin Kaymer a three-time Ryder Cup veteran, who so memorably sunk the winning putt to secure the Miracle at Medinah four years ago and has seven top 15 finishes in his last nine starts, and Travelers Champion winner, Russell Knox.
Luke Donald will be tough to ignore after his T2 this week, but Knox has earned his shot. Guys like Thomas Pieters, Shane Lowry and Soren Kjeldsen all could make the team easily if the guys ahead weren't so good.
