PGA Tour Wyndham Championship leaderboard http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/wyndham-championship/leaderboard.html
Jason Gore had a career-best 62 to lead at -15-under 195 while Jonas Blixt shot 62 and Scott Brown 66 to get to -13. Past winners at this soft yielding Sedgefield CC., Webb Simpson (64) and Brandt Snedeker (67) along with Paul Casey (66) are at -12 as are Jim Herman (66) and Cameron Percy (67).
However today, as it has been forever, it's all about Tiger Woods who is looking like the Tiger of old, after adding a -2 68 to his rounds of 64 and 65
Granted the field is just tearing this Sedgefield course apart, the cut fell at -3, it's short at just over 7100 yards and Tiger has put his 2 iron back in his bag which he can use off many of the tees. As a result there are 61's and 62's all over the leaderboard and it will probably take something like that to win today.
That said all eyes will be on Tiger trying for his first win in more than two years at the WGC Bridgestone in 2013, and if he does he will be in the field the FedEx Cup next week in New Jersey. He could make them with a solo second. He has slipped all the way to #187.
As for Gore, who broke onto the scene with such a splash nearly 15 years ago, this is a big day it would only be his second win on tour and his first since 2005. In fact the record book shows he has only 15 top 10 finishes in 10 years and is now at #166 in the Fed Ex Cup
He will be in the last pairing with Blixt who is also trying to secure his card, but not many will be watching as you know who is in the second last group paired with Scott Brown.
By the way Adam Hadwin had a -4 66 with five birdies and an eagle. He is at -88, T27.
