Im happy to say play is underway on a bright fresh 14*c Sunday at this year's version of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship with Storm Amy finally losing her grip on the UK, well out to the east over the North Sea.

Even more pleasing to the Scots in attendance, favourite son Robert Bob MacIntyre is currently in the lead, playing the Old Course at -3 through 5 holes -15 total.
Up at Carnoustie German Freddy Schott is 2nd, also -3 through 5 holes at -13 total.
Canada's lone representative Aaron Cockerill is at Carnoustie T88 E par through 8 -2 total
