PGA Tour Champions: Principal Charity Classic leaderboard here
Stephen Ames was seven shots behind before posting a Sunday 67 to win this Principal Charity Classic last year and after finishing 2nd last week at the Kitchen Aid Senior PGA Championship, it's fair to say he's in great form.
He's all set to defend his title beginning today down in Des Moines, Iowa. He's off the 1st at 11.30 local time with Fred Couples and Steve Stricker.
David Morland has also qualified, he's the last player off at 11.50am 10th tee.
Last week's winner Kiwi sensation Steve Alker is in another featured group with Miguel Angel Jimenez and Ernie Els at 11.20
Mike Weir is not playing but he will join all the other Canadians at the RBC Canadian Open next week on the PGA Tour at St George's in Etobicoke.
