Both Mike Weir and Stephen Ames got plenty of air time on TV over the weekend, both shared the lead, but fell away to T9 -9 and T6th -11 respectively to a very excited winner Doug Barron who was great with 64 64 64 -18.

Weir had it going with an opening round 63 just a shot off the lead, but just couldn't quite keep up that form in a round 2 of 70 before a closing 68. Ames also opened well with 64,65 and looked like he could win until 3 late bogey's on Sunday left him with 70, 7 shots out of 1st place.
