Korda storms ahead, Henderson improves in round 2 at Tokyo 2020...full leaderboard

Tokyo 2020 : Women's Olympic Golf leaderboard here.

With a tap in double bogey at the 18th, world #1Nelly Korda still shot -9 62 to take a commanding 4 shot lead (67, 62) at -13 on another sweltering day at the Women's Olympic golf championship.

She made it look easy going -6 through 5 holes on her front side, adding anther 5 birdies on the back and needed an eagle at 18 to become the only player to beat Annika Sorenstam's LPGA record 59.

Meanwhile Brooke Henderson was 6 shots better than her opening round 73, with 2 bogey's and 5 birdies for a -3 68 T34 E. Alena Sharp got around in E 71 to head into the weekend +3 T46.

Weather warning: There is a tropical storm expected on Saturday. Round 3 on Friday sees Brooke tee off at 7.59am and Alena at 8.35, both local time in Tokyo. The field will start early and be paired in three's off split tees, and plan to do the same on Saturday.

Depending on how bad the weather is, reports are that organizers may be forced to reduce the event to 54 holes if Sunday also becomes unplayable.
