Brooke Henderson in contention again at Texas Shootout.

LPGA Tour Texas Shootout leaderboard http://www.lpga.com/tournaments/volunteers-of-america-texas-shootout-presented-by-jtbc/leaderboard

With 8 straight top 10 finishes you'd have to think Brooke Henderson  is going to step into the winners circle again, sooner rather than later. She is off to another great start in windy conditions with a -2 69 T9 just 3 shots behind the leader, South Korean, Mi Jung Hur -5 66 in Irving Texas at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout presented by JTBC. (this is what happens to a tournament title when you have to cover all the sponsors)

Other Canadian scores: Alena Sharp E 71, Maude Aimee LeBlanc +5 76 Samantha Richdale +4 75

Texas apparently has a big Korean population and Hur and her family have moved from Korea to Orlando to nearby McKinney to be near them.

In fact South Korean players currently have six of the top eight positions. So Yeon Ryu and Eun-Hee Ji are T2 with American Gerina Piller at 67, and Sei Young Kim, Amy Yang, Jenny Shin and Scotland’s Catriona Matthew shot 68.
