Brad Fritsch T2 at Bosque Mexico Championship

Web.com Tour Bosque Mexico Championship leaderboard http://www.pgatour.com/webcom/tournaments/el-bosque-mexico-championship-presented-by-innova/leaderboard.html

Brad Fritsch won last week and has brought that confidence and form with him from Brasil to Mexico, shooting an opening -6 66 to sit T2 after the opening round of the Bosque Mexico Championship in Leon.  Fritsch’s -6 is a personal best on this course and his round was highlighted by an eagle at the par-5, 18th where he hit a 4-iron to two feet.

There are 8 Canucks in the field in total, after Albin Choi had to WD after a front 9 of 41. Their scores are listed in the link above.

El Bosque Country Club, which measures in at 7,701 yards, is the longest course on this Tour sitting just under 6,000 feet above sea level and the ball is flying in the thin air.

The leader is Californian rookie Brian Campbell playing on this tour for just the second time, He shot -7 65. Play was suspended due to darkness and it will resume early this morning.
