With nine South Koreans in the world's top 20 http://www.rolexrankings.com/en/rankings/ one of the toughest questions to answer as we head into the summer Olympics is who will be on their team?

On Thursday the woman who started the Asian Invasion, Se Ri Pak announced her retirement from the LPGA Tour following the completion of the 2016 season. With 25 victories including five major championships, Pak made the announcement at her first event of the season so she can do the Kobe Bryant type of farewell tour

Fittingly on a day of low scoring it was a pair of her fellow countrymen led by Mi Hyang Lee, who set the new 18-hole scoring record at the JTBC Founders Cup with a -10 62 who looked good for Annika Sorenstam's record 59 but showed why that number is so elusive as she let several glittering chances slip by.

Her 62 gives her a one stroke lead ahead of Sei Young Kim and American, Brittany Lang who both shot -9 63.  Giulia Sergas is next in 4th at -8.

Gerina Piller and Anna Nordqvist are T4 -7 65’s along with Minjee Lee, Dani Holmqvist, Pernilla Lindberg.

Canadians: Brooke Henderson T24 -4 68, Alena Sharp, Maude Aimee LeBlanc T104 +1 73.
