Graham DeLaet birdied 4 holes in a row on his front nine to share the early lead at the Shell Houston Open. He has added another on the back and shot -5 67 T6, 2 shots off the lead held by Dustin Johnson and Roberto Castro with who are finished with -7 65
There are 5 Canadians in the field. Nick Taylor is T10 after he shot -4 68 Mike Weir had a rough back nine and is at +4 76, David Hearn is in the late wave and Adam Hadwin is -1 through 16.
Pre tournament favourite Jordan Spieth has just begun his round. Neither Rory McIlroy or Jason Day are in the field this week before the Masters.
