Tiger looks like I've been giving him lessons !! I've been following this morning on the internet and he has just matched his worst 9-hole score on the PGA Tour with a 44 on his front nine which is the back nine at TPC Scottsdale. At the turn he is +10 for the tournament, last in the field with local club pro Michael Hopper.
If my memory is correct he did the same thing at Jack's Memorial tournament a few years ago.
Golf channel just broke into taped coverage of Dubai and they showed him take a double bogey on the 14th with a tee shot into a desert bush and a bad chip. He also made triple bogey on the par-5 15th with a tee shot into the water, a bunker shot over the green and a flubbed chip.
I just feel sorry for the guy, I mean he tried a little chip and run with a 5 iron where he stubbed the club behind the ball just like I do !!
Update.. Tiger has just finished with a bogey on his last hole for an 82, he missed the cut by 12, met with the media, says he is stuck between 2 systems, the one he had with Sean Foley and the one he is trying now, apparently he's forgotten how to chip because his club is bottoming out at a different spot ?!>> He is now winging his way back to Florida to prepare for next week at Torrey Pines where he has won 8 times...
