Tiger, Rory, the LPGA and Web.com all in action this weekend.

In case you missed the news, Tiger is back for another season beginning tomorrow at the Waste Management Pheonix Open, while Rory heads up a  stellar field at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, and the LPGA has a brand new season opener in Florida, the Coates Golf Championship, while the Web.com gets started in Panama..

Play gets under way at 1015pm (ET) tonight. Rory is off with the morning flight at 1105. Martin Kaymer playing with Rory, gave a delightful interview yesterday about his 10 stroke collapse last week in Qatar, in which he stated he of course wanted the win, but to his way of thinking he is better off as a golfer and a person going forward having gone through the experience.

Now off to another desert this one in Scottsdale, where another strong field is set headlined of course by Tiger ( 207pm ET with Jordan Speith and Patrick Reed), but Phil and Rickie and Robert Allenby are in the field along with 6 Canadians, Graham DeLaet (930am ET), David Hearn (158pm ET), Mike Weir, Nick Taylor (225pmET), Adam Hadwin (301pmET), Corey Renfrew (310pmET)
Remember this is the course with the rowdy par 3 16th, and Tiger's return is his first since 2001 when someone threw an orange at him.

Brad Fritsch is the lone Canadian in the season opener in Panama Claro Championship as the Web.com'ers spend a month down in Central and South America.

Michelle Wie is one of eight top 10 players in the field at Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club. Top-ranked Inbee Park also is playing along with No. 2 Lydia Ko, No. 3 Stacy Lewis, No. 5 Suzann Pettersen, No. 8 So Yeon Ryu, No. 9 Karrie Webb and No. 10 Lexi Thompson.

Paula Creamer got married in the off season, honeymooning in New Zealand and she is in the field. By the way this course has 8 replica holes including the par 3 12th from the Masters.
