Golf this weekend in Hawaii and South Africa

It is freezing cold across most of this country again today, temperatures as low as -35*c, here in Toronto -20 or worse with the windchill, so just to warm you up I remind you that the 2015 season resumes this weekend with the PGA Tour playing Hyundai Tournament of Champions on the Plantation Course at Kapalua, a limited field of last years winners, and the European Tour plays the South African Open.

With the WGC World MatchPlay being moved from February to May it is unlikely we'll see Tiger  or Rory or Adam or Sergio or Rickie on the PGA Tour until the start of the Florida swing, golf is such a long schedule world wide.

On this side of the pond all the other pros basically take their families to Hawaii for 3 weeks, first full field is next week at the Sony, to ease into 2015... Nice eh! We are all just trying to stay warm.... hoping the car will start..

However as always there are story lines galore, how about Rory winning the Masters to complete the slam, then winning the US Open to hold all 4 majors !! Will Phil bounce back, Dustin Johnson returns, it goes on and on and I will be here on FairwaysPlus for my 20th year sharing it all with you..

In Canada we will follow Brooke Henderson as she sets out on here pro career, and remember Adam Hadwin, Nick Taylor and Roger Sloan will join Delaet, Hearn and Weirsy this year.

I'm off to work, stay warm and enjoy this 2015 season starting this weekend..
