What I can tell you is that going into today's final round...I have no idea who will win this tournament never mind the Fed Ex Cup and the $10m..
Here's how they stand.. (big 5 in bold)
Jim Furyk 67,65,70 202 -8
R Goosen 71,66,66 203 -7
L Donald 66,66,71 203, -7
G Ogilvy 66,67,72, 205 -5
P Casey 66,71,69 206 -4
K Na 69,68,69 206 -4
C Hoffman 71,67,69 207 -3
N Watney 71,74,63 208 -2
P Mickelson 69,72,68 209 -1
S Stricker 74,68,68 210 E
M Kuchar 72,70,72 214 +4
D Johnson 73,71,73, 217 +7
E Els 71,71,71 213 +3
So to win the Fed Ex Cup.... Furyk needs to win but needs help from the big 5. Luke Donald will win it all if he wins the tourney..Retief Goosen can win but needs Paul Casey to wear shorts.. Geoff Ogilvy can win but needs Kevin Na to sing Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey Goodbye....Charlie Hoffman can win but needs the gallery to all wear blond wigs... Get my drift..
At least this year we will just have to wait and see, unlike the year Vijay just had to show up for this event. Nick Watney gave hope to players further down the field with his 63 yesterday.
Bad weather is forecast to hit Atlanta at around 3 this afternoon so tee times are moved up with Furyk and Goosen just off at 1120am.
CHAMPIONS TOUR
Nice story happening today at the SAS down in Cary NC with Russ Cochrane 64,67 131 -13 taking a 4 shot lead into the final round.
