The cut has fallen at E par and as I post there are still a few pairings wrapping up their second rounds, then round 3 tee times which will be in 3's off split tees #1 and #10 will be announced.
I have provided the live leaderboard and tee times links above.
As Saturday's round 3 gets underway here are a few things you should know.
* the greens will be lightly rolled after round 2 is over and new pin placements will be cut. I expect them to be tougher than round 2 and I expect the tees to be pushed back.
* Bellerive CC is defenseless it is so soft with all the rain and an over watering program by the course staff to save it during the earlier heat wave St Louis and in fact most of us endured and are enduring.
* so expect scoring to be low, record setting low with players becoming very aggressive to take advantage.
* guys like Henrik Stenson, Matt Kuchar,Patrick Reed, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Adam Hadwin and many more stars have missed the cut.
* with the course so soft, most all of these guys will be able to score, so this will become a birdie competition.
* the lead held by Gary Woodland is -10 so everybody is within 10 shots.
