Scoring is extremely low on this Desert Ridge course in the Valley of the Sun down in Phoenix. Playing in record 95-degree heat Sweden's Anna Nordqvist shot the lowest, -11 61, -21 total and in the process broke the tournament 54-hole record of -19 set by Ai Miyazato in 2013.
However there are 9 players within 5 shots chasing her today, including Ariya Jutanugarn and Stacy Lewis who each shot 66 to sit at -19. Lydia Ko 68 69 63 is at -16.
