Playing with Henrik Stenson he made a hole-in-one with a Cadillac on offer for whoever turned the trick.
The hole was playing at 193 yards which is important because Kuchar happened to read the fine print while they were waiting to tee off and because the tee had been moved forward from the back tee, there was a notice that the car would not be awarded Saturday because insurance only covered a tee shot of 200 yards or more.
“That was probably one of the saddest hole-in-ones I’ve ever had,” Kuchar said after a 68 to finish eight shots behind.
Now come on Cadillac! or whoever was responsible. The world wide bad press you are getting over this cheapo' clause is not what your publicity department needed.
I'm guessing we will hear a reversal of this decision some time today..
