PGA Tour Safeway Open leaderboard http://www.pgatour.com/competition/2017/safeway-open/leaderboard.html
Not only have many of the media who flew out to this Safeway Open in the Napa Valley to cover the return of Tiger Woods been disappointed by his late withdrawal, they have endured a miserable week of rain and cool temperatures in a region reknown for the sunshine that produces some of this world's great wines.
Playing catch up all day on Saturday, play was finally halted due to darkness with Johnson Wagner in the lead at -15 through 15 holes.
None of that matters to the young Canadian MacKenzie Hughes, who has shot 3 straight rounds of 69, -9 in a T10 with Phil Mickelson, in his first PGA Tour event.
Hughes admits he is playing pressure free golf with another big event in mind...He is getting married next week !
Other Canadian scores: Brad Fritsch, David Hearn, Adam Hadwin, Graham DeLaet and Nick Taylor all missed the cut.
