Alex Noren will take a two-shot lead into this mornings final round of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open after a dramatic Saturday at Castle Stuart Golf Links.
Conditions had been at their most helpful in the early stages with birdies and eagles the order of the day and at one point five players shared the lead as the leaderboard closed up.
Heavy rain arrived in the afternoon, however, and it was Noren who came out on top at 12 under after a 68 which put him two shots clear of England's Tyrrell Hatton and Italian Matteo Manassero.
Noren arrives off the back of a top ten at the 100th Open de France while for Manassero, it is a remarkable return to form for a player without a top ten since this event two years ago
