Brooke Henderson shot - 1 70 T31, to sit 5 shots off the lead held by Japan's Mika Miyazato -6 65. Maude-Aimée Leblanc opened with a 74, while Samantha Richdale carded a 76.
In rain soaked conditions, players were allowed to lift, clean and place their golf balls in the fairways.
