Brendon Todd’s 5-under 65 was the low round of the day and it gave the Stadion Classic at UGA winner a share of second place with Brad Fritsch (66), LSU’s John Peterson (72) and third-round leader Scott Gardiner (72) of Australia.

Brad Fritsch fired a 4-under 66 Sunday to finish at 8-under 272 and T2. Fritsch chalked up nine birdies in the final round and will return to the PGA TOUR for the upcoming season.

Fritsch had missed the cut in all three of the previous Finals events and came into the week tied for 116th in the Priority Ranking. His T2 effort was worth $66,000 and pushed him all the way up to No. 14 in the Priority Ranking.

Fritsch made the cut in 18 of 24 PGA TOUR starts this year, which was his rookie season. He had one top-10 finish (T9 at Farmers Insurance Open) and ended the season No. 129 on the FedExCup points list

Round 4

David Howell celebrated reaching the end of a "long, long road from the depths of despair" after claiming his first European Tour title in seven years by beating American Peter Uihlein in a sudden-death play-off at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Howell carded a final round of 67 to set the clubhouse target at St Andrews and then watched as overnight leader Uihlein missed from 15 feet for a winning birdie on the 18th, meaning the pair finished tied on 23 under par.

Both players narrowly missed long birdie attempts on the first extra hole but Howell, who had lost all four of his previous play-offs, made no such mistake from eight feet when action switched to the 18th to claim the title and first prize of €589,561.

Round 4

The winner of the season-ending Symetra Tour event and the top 10 players who will earn their 2014 LPGA Tour cards will have to wait to be determined later today as darkness halts the final round play.

Continuous rain on Saturday morning marked the course unplayable, forcing tournament officials to postpone the start of the third round at the Symetra Tour Championship Presented by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University until 7:45 a.m. on Sunday. The third round leaders teed off at 3:15 p.m. and player through 16 holes before play was called for darkness. Play will resume at 8 a.m.this morning.

South Africa’s Paula Reto, who has two holes left to play, and American Megan McChrystal, who has one hole remaining, currently lead the field at 12-under.
