Thanksgiving Monday wrap: final scoreboards.Canadian scores

A happy Thanksgiving Monday to you all, wishing to all the very best whatever you are up to.

After  getting up at 5am working Saturday, Sunday I enjoyed a little lie in today, but fully intend to get outside for a long hike before a little pork tenderloin tonight.

Like all Jays fans, and despite a Fall full book of Sunday sports including the Bills romp over the Steelers 38-3, there was a big hole in the schedule after the shock of the blown 8-1 lead on Saturday to end an entertaining season with a thud !

The lesson here is not to let the season come down to a 3 game playoff where anything can and did happen and remember, the Seattle players involved in that comeback including one of our previous heroes Robbie Ray became instant legends in their fans eyes.

Meanwhile another blown lead happened down in Vegas at the Shriners Children's Open..

Here's the details.

PGA Tour: Shriners Children's Open final results here.

The pros were making a mockery of TPC Summerlin in Vegas at the Shriners Children's Open including Patrick Cantlay who had the 59 watch put on him on Saturday, but there were a ton of low 60s in ideal desert conditions including Korean sensation from the Presidents Cup Tom Kim who closed the weekend with 62 66. .

Cantlay and Kim were tied at -24 on the 72nd tee until the American yanked his drive left into a thorny bush in the desert. He tried to punch it out, with Kim in the fairway, but made matters worse, took an unplayable, then promptly hit his 4th into the water, finally ending up with a triple bogey 7, while Kim made an easy par to win his 2nd PGA Tour title.

Canadians:

Adam Hadwin also went on a birdie run of 5 in 6 holes for a closing -3 68 T10 at -17

Taylor Pendrith T44 -11, Adam Svensson T69 -7, Michael Gligic, Nick Taylor both MC.

PGA Tour Champions: Constellation Furyk and Friends final results here.

Mike Weir was in contention down in Jacksonville, Florida with opening 68's but slipped up on Sunday with +3 75 to finish T14 -5 while Steve Stricker shot 69 64 69 -14 good for a 2 shot win.

Stephen Ames T25 75 70 78 -3.

LPGA Tour: Mediheal Championship final results

Alena Sharp continues her quest to regain her Tour card. This week down in Somis California she made the cut, but it wasn't her best week T83 72 71 77 76 +8.

The winner 64 69 69 71 -15 from England was Jodi Ewart Shadoff.

Maude Aimee Leblanc WD and Maddie Szeryk MC. Brooke Henderson did not play this week.
