Standing on the 18th tee Nick Taylor at -5 was leading a pack all at -4 66 which included world #1 Scottie Scheffler at this year's version of the Colonial sponsored by Charles Schwab in Fort Worth, Texas,
However his one poor drive of the day far to the right, and the recovery which ended on a cart path led to a bogey, leaving him tied for the lead at -4 with seven other players.
Earlier he had the Shot of the Day when holed out from 100 yards for an eagle at the par 4 12th. He produced 4 birdies. 2 bogey's and the eagle on the day. He is currently ranked 244th in the world.
Adam Svensson is the only other Canadian in the field is T26 -1 69.
