 PGA Tour: Wells Fargo Championship

Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte NC is near the top of the PGA Tour pros must play courses. Currently home to the Wells Fargo Championship since 2003, it has a long history starting with the Kemper Open back in 1969, then the Senior Tour's PaineWebber in 1983 and the PGA Championship in 2017.

This year it's hosting the Presidents Cup, so the Wells Fargo has been moved to the Washington DC are at the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, home of the PGA Tour Quicken Loans in 2017, 2018 when Frankie Molinari began the year of his life with an 8 shot -21 win.

Canadians: Yesterday Drew Nesbitt shot a 64 in a Monday qualifier at Cattail CC in Glenwood, Maryland to make the field along with Corey Connors, Mac Hughes, Adam Svensson, Michael Gligic, Roger Sloan and Nick Taylor.

Rory McIlroy is back as the defending champion on this par 70 course with just 2 par 5's. It's reknown as a ball strikers course, so Corey Connors with 4 top 12's in his 6 starts this year and now ranked 31st in the world is among the betting favourites.

WEATHER: with temperatures in the mid 70's there are TStorms in the forecast for Wednesday and Friday at 60%. There is no significant wind.
